Who is the Roving Reiki?

Warm welcomes! Libby Turner-Hoffman is the owner and founder of the Roving Reiki, LLC. Specializing in transformative and vibrational arts, Libby is a Reiki Master in both the Usui Reiki Ryoho and Crystal Reiki traditions, a Level III Sound Healing Practitioner-- with advanced training in Crystal Singing Bowls, Tibetan Singing Bowls, and Tuning Forks-- and a certified LOKA Method™ Breathwork Facilitator and Meditation Teacher.

Outside of being committed to continuing education and training in the integrative health fields, her formal education includes an MA in art history (USF) and a BA in English literature and theatre (Washington College). She has also taken graduate level theology coursework and practical nursing courses.

She is a mother, disability advocate, and current homeschool educator. She has a love for all creatures from beetles to people (maybe not ticks and mosquitoes) and can be found outside in nature, likely with a found rock or shell in her pocket. She firmly and solidly believes in the words of Thomas Merton that "There is no way of telling people that they are all walking around shining like the sun."

What is the Roving Reiki, LLC?

The Roving Reiki, LLC was formed after a battle with chronic illness and pain, culminating in narrowly surviving septic shock and developing post-intensive care syndrome (PICS), profoundly diminished Libby's quality of life.

A chance encounter with sound vibrations, resulting in a profound shift in both her pain and her mobility, forced Libby to reconsider modalities she had dismissed as pseudo-science at best-- predatory farcical woo-woo at worst.

Research into the science of sound waves and the use of sound healing throughout history and within various cultures and traditions-- as well as her own experience-- made her reconsider her opinions.

And so began her own tentative, then blossoming, journey into sound and energy healing practices.

The Roving Reiki LLC was conceived with the complete conviction that these modalities positively impact and inform lives -- and with the deep understanding and consideration that very often those who most need these energy-based practices are the very same people who are least able to get to a practitioner's office.

And so, the Roving Reiki, LLC "Energy without Barriers" was formed. It is Libby's highest honor to meet, serve, and work with you.
