What is Distance Reiki?
Distance Reiki refers to Reiki sessions that are conducted remotely, and is an inherent and foundational component of The Roving Reiki: Energy without Barriers
Distance sessions allow you to receive healing energy from the comfort of your own home, on your schedule.
I offer synchronous distance sessions (live together via Zoom) and asynchronous sessions (no face-to-face or "live" phone contact).
Both the synchronous and asynchronous Reiki sessions are booked similarly to in-person sessions: you will receive intake forms, including "what to expect" information to best energetically prepare you for your Reiki session, as well as "after session" notes to gently support the energetic shifts that may occur immediately after, or in the days following your session. Asynchronous sessions will also receive a brief write-up concerning the session itself, and any pertinent energetic insights or impressions.
Asynchronous appointments benefit from a greater scheduling flexibility-- including times when you may be sleeping (or working etc.)-- the energy will find you where and how you are.
Both options are equally effective and their suitability is only determined by your preference. As with all energy work, the key is your intent to be open to receiving Reiki for the your greatest good.
How does Distance Reiki "work?"
Distance Reiki works in the same manner as in-person sessions. As energy is not captive to linear timelines and it is not bound by physical location, a session can be conducted without the recipient being physically present., allowing Reiki Practitioners to connect with clients from across the street, or across the world! While each Reiki Master receives distance healing training as part of their studies and practices, some practitioners feel and develop a special affinity for it.
I am one such practitioner.
