Hematite Quartz with Specularite Rosettes, Jinlong Hill Mine

Lovely hematite included quartz displaying well-formed specular hematite rosettes associated with this location.

I read new material — of this type— is no longer coming out of this area

Jinlong Hill Mine, Longchuan County, Heyuan Prefecture, Guangdong Province, China

⭐️I chose to feature this particular specimen due to the atypical parallel growth pattern of the quartz. Most hematite quartz from this location has an uber spiky (dare I say: chaotic 😂) growth habit. This specimen’s twin+ growth is aesthetically clean & intentional.

Nothing against this locale's chaotic, spiky, rock & roll specimens. I LOVE those. All day!!

BUT there’s something singular about this lady that resonates, commanding quiet and sustained attention. Both the growth pattern and the quality of this quartz piece make this an excellent, if not compositionally unique, specimen for this location.

From an energetic viewpoint, this organized arrangement of quartz points, I believe, resonates well with its sacral & root chakra associations. It appears calm, collected & grounded. The main crystal points supported and forward growth also suggests clarity, direction & security.

Specimen is self-standing.
